RWIT Introduces ‘TSUDY’ Initiative

Yesterday, the Student Center for Research, Writing and Information Technology, or “RWIT,” extended their streak of relevant and astute acronyms by introducing their new “TSUDY” program.

“TSUDY” stands for Taking notes, Studying, and Understanding: from Dartmouth to You. Its goal is to educate students on effective methods of learning but the real story is the acronym itself. With TSUDY, RWIT has solidified its status as campus wordsmiths.

“The name ‘TSUDY’ beautifully connotes a service that will teach you effective study habits. I couldn’t imagine an acronym that more elegantly captures the essence of the initiative,” said Randy Robinson ’12 in an interview with the Dunyun.

“They had so little to work with,” said Rojas. “I guess this kind of deft wordplay is why so many students trust the folks at RWIT with their term papers. TSUDY. Brilliant.”

Campus critics have applauded RWIT for its memorable acronym, noting how any other combination of those four letters would make little sense and certainly wouldn’t suggest themes of writing the way RWIT does.

“RWIT ranks up there with D.A.R.E. and the 3-1-1 rule at airport security as one of the most helpful and well thought out short cuts I’ve ever seen,” said Benajmin Smtih ’14. “It just makes sense.”

When asked how she came up with the name RWIT, Melinda O’Brien ’12 claims to have been “totally sloshed” when she was BBMd about the matter. She had tried to spell something else but during the interview, she could not remember what it was. “‘RWIT’ just stuck.”

In other news, can we get some real eggs at the hop? You’re all fucking sheep.
